For your information, this is part 2 of my previous post.... many things happened throughout this whole week and i am unable to squeeze them all into one post... Yesterday's post was mostly on my trip to Pulau Pinang...
Well, i haven't really started learning anything yet... but, glad to say, i can finally memorise the penang state song and the college song..... Normally in school we would sing the Johor Anthem after the Negaraku... i'm still not quite used to singing the Lagu Pulau Pinang... sometimes, after the Negaraku, i tend to prepare myself for the familiar tune of the Johor anthem.... hahahha... But seriously, the Lagu Pulau Pinang sounded more lively than the Johor one... haha..I like that song!!!
So, everyday for the past week... we had to periods of kuliah Moral, while the Muslims had their prayers... and we actually had a singing competition among the groups... i was in Group 1.. Mambo Number 1!!! actually this group of mine performed poorly for the first few days.. our group cheer was the most childish... and most semangat-less... compared to the other groups... even our Fasi was fed up with us...
Thursday was the day of the singing competiton.... we had a brief practice before the competition begins....I frankly told the rest that my voice is super duper awful... luckily they didn;t mind instead thwey asked m,e to sing loudly also.... phew... Normally we were the first to start... but today, we were last... Unexpectedly, we were one of the two champions!!! yay!! After that, we were told that we were also chosen to sing in a choir on Friday, during the closing ceremony of the Minggu Pengurusan Pelajar Baru... OMG... Do you all realise that i sounded really awfull.... and coughing very badly sometimes....???? But i can't just abandon the rest of the group... right?? i'm worried that they will ignore me if i did that....mipo
So, i sang.... Thank God i did not do anything embarassing....hahaha... i'm quite famous for that... wahahaha
Classes will be starting tommorow... the system they used here is almost similar to those in universities....so, we will be having class in the form of Kuliah, Tutorial and amali....Everyone of us were divided into different practicums... as for me, i'm in H7P2... For kuliah, all the H7 will be in the same lecture hall... and then P2... is something like class... where the whole bunch of us will attend tutorial and practical together....
During the orientation week... we were introduced to everyone in the same practicum... each practicum will have a mentor who will take care of us... especially those problems concerning studies.... Did i mention that i was the only chinese girl there....??? I can't remember whether i told you all about that in my previous post... so, whatever it is, i'm not in the same practicum nor kuliah with mk and lua... hahaha....
I'm going to try to be active in the activities held here...(i was quite inactive in the past... i know)
Now... my new target is 4-flat!!!! No more A1s... or As.... Though getting 4 flats means getting 3 straight As... (Mathematics, Bio and Kimia).... sounds simple right?? 3 subjects only... but i'm still quite worried that i won't perform as well as i did during the previous years.... haiz.... the people here are all smart-ees... hahaha.... nevermind lah... i won't give up so easily.... Gambate yo!!!
Just hang on...... hang in there Rachel..... Another few more months and we are back home again....!!!! Go GO GO!!!!
